My Story

Angalena Kristina Robinson died Thursday afternoon, July 29, 2010 as the result of an automobile accident on Tomstown Road in Waynesboro, PA

She had just completed her junior year in high school at Waynesboro Area Senior High School where she was active on the cheerleading squad. She was employed at McDonald's in Waynesboro and was looking forward to joining the Army following graduation from high school.

She was active in activities at Five Forks Brethern in Christ Church and the Waynesboro YMCA. She also enjoyed volunteering for the Antietam Humane Society and the Special Olympics in Chambersburg.

Angalena was one of a kind. She was outgoing and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a smile that could brighten your day no matter how bad of a day you were having and a laugh that you just can't get out of your mind. She loved the simple things in life and had many dreams. One of which was to restore her 1972 Pontiac LeMans which she intended to do with the money she earned from working at McDonald's. She loved shopping as all girls do but she also enjoyed hunting and fishing, riding four wheelers and being outdoors. She loved to talk and to make people laugh which she did easily as a blonde. Her favorite things to say were "I Know, Right" "and "You Will, Because You Love Me" and we did because we did love her and she knew that. There are so many memories of her that we will continue to share and many more tears that will be shed, some will be shed for happy memories and some will be shed in sorrow, but she will never be forgotten.

Angalena had another passion in her life, and that was her boyfriend and one true love, Damien Winegardner. He was the center of her world as she was of his and every photo ever taken of the two of them together turned out perfectly. What started as a childhood romance was blossoming into so much more with each passing day. We know without a doubt that Angalena knew what true love felt like even in her short life.

With her passing one of her dreams would come true and that was the restoration of her 1972 Pontiac LeMans thanks to alot of hard work done by family and friends. They put her car together in a matter of days so that it could be displayed during her viewing and funeral for all her friends to sign their goodbyes on as a memorial to her. There is no greater gift than the gift of love and this was shown by their commitment to fulfilling her dream.
