In Memory of the Late Victoria Awlor-Ama Fugar
From her children
Friends, loved ones and family -
It is our honor and privilege to pay tribute today to a very dear and special person.
On the 1st day of October 2011, Victoria Awlor-Ama Fugar affectionately called Davi
by all of us and many others, breathed her last, and passed on to glory, to be with the Lord.
We are eternally grateful to God for giving her to us as our mother.
Certainly God gave us the best mother a family could ever ask for.
Davi was truly remarkable in some many ways. She lived her life to the full and touched so many people during her time here with us. We all have very fond memories that we will always carry with us - memories that defined Davi; memories that we will always hold dear; memories that personify Davi and her life well lived.
Davi loved her family unequivocally and selflessly.
She was a devoted wife / mother / Auntie / sister/ grandmother / - add personal names;
family relationships and touching stories here if any.
She took all of these roles to heart and she strove to honor, support, guide and most importantly, love her late husband and family. She was at her happiest when she was surrounded by family.
Her devotion to family was the foundation of her actions - the anchor that defined and shaped her life. Davi was a good confidante and a friend to many! She could be counted on and depended on always.
Whether you needed sound counsel, an empathetic ear, or a shoulder to lean on; Davi was your go-to person. She was always ready, steadfast and willing to help in whichever way possible.
As we remember Davi today it is obvious that she has left a unique void that can only be filled by her. It is very hard to say goodbye and we don't want to.
Davi we will miss you very dearly… however this is where in the quietness of our hearts we seem to hear you say to all of us
Miss Me But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road,
And the sun has set for me,
I want no tears in a gloom-filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little – but not too long,
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take,
And each must go alone,
It’s all a part of the Master’s plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds,
Miss me but let me go.
Davi, well done, you have run your race and finished the course set before you, now is your time to rest in the
peaceful arms of your Maker. Fare thee well and rest peacefully in the Lord till we meet again.
Rest in Perfect Peace
