My Story

It's sad for me to pen this prose ... I do so hoping to comfort those
Those who are your partner, son, daughter, sister and brother
Grandchildren, in-laws, relations and many another
You are a wonderful, wife, mother, sister, nanna and friend your mortal journey has come to an end.

I know you fought hard and tried to stay ... we missed you at lunch on Mothers Day
I know too Bev your were right by our sides wishing you could dry the tears that we cried
I know you aren't suffering now and free from pain, Friday Heaven another Angel gained
I know you have found Eternal peace, and will be saddened by your families grief

You'll watch over your loved ones from Heaven afar ... in the night sky you're a twinkling star
Like so many others who have gone on before, you'll welcome yours when they come through that door
Just as your Mum and Dad were there to greet you, your grandparents and ancestors you never knew
God is kind and God is good, keeping the promise made, as a Christian you knew God would

We'll keep your memory always alive ... and when we speak of you we'll be filled with pride
I promise I'll watch over your kin, I watch them now and know your values are embedded within
Heaven has gained another beautiful soul, you've represented God well and full filled your role
Wednesday will be the last day to show our love and respect ... for a maginificent lady we'll never forget
