My Story

Danny was born in Auburn Ca. Born on Saturday Dec.13,1947, sadly he passed on Tuesday
OCT. 27,1987. due to a fatal car accident. Entering into heaven he leaves behind his dad & mom,
Jesse Dalton Griffin & Maxine Isabella Griffin Hunt.
I want to tell u some things about him, his likes, loves, hobbies, & family, all that I can remember.
Danny was a very handsome man, he loved sporting a beard, which looked very handsome on him, & sometimes he would comb his hair back, I called it his Elvis look, LOL I loved it when he wore it that way. other wise he liked wearing it natural, that's what he would tell me.
He loved, cars, motorcycles, listening to music, Hard Rock, such as Alice Cooper, Pink Floyed & Steve Miller band & some Country back in the day. He love to fish, go camping, shoot darts, horseback riding & a good game of horseshoes.
Danny love to laugh, tease, & just liked having fun, but most importantly, having his family & friends around him at all times.
Hobbies his cars, building & racing them.
Favorite foods Steak & potatoes man for sure, he loved Sardines in a can with mustard, (eewww) well he did back in the 70's LOL. & Mexican. Favorite color is Blue.
His occupation was a Mechanic & he had also worked on the Barge.
Danny was a free spirit, he loved life, & his family was his world, he had such a good heart, very kind & a little shy at times, he had so much love to give. If u ever met him you would love him, he had that lasting effect on you. Danny had a smile that would melt your heart. Since his passing, his father has joined him in heaven, RIP Jesse 5/6/1926 7/1/1995. Where they have both joined Jonathan Griffin, Danny's son who sadly passed at the tender age of 7, 5/8/1969 - 4/10/77 RIP.
Who would've thought that he would someday have 7 children of 5 boys & 2 girls, plus 7 grand children of, 4 girls & 3 boys. I always thought he would make a good dad & he made a pretty good grandpa to I've been told, he love kids.
Grand Kids- Daniel son of Daniel Griffin Jr, Blaine, son of Jeffrey Griffin, Pamela & Kristin, daughters of Troy Griffin, Shelby, son, Makayla & Devin, daughters of Shellie Griffin Goemmer.
With his brother & sisters, 16 Nieces & Nephews- Tammy, Lisa, Deanna, & Brandi, daughters of Mitsy Griffin Harrell, Margo & Katie, daughters of Jesse Tyrone Griffin, Brandon, Laci, Nikki, Rodney Jr, sons & daughters of Mona Griffin White, Steven, DeWayne, Eric, Griffin, sons of Tessie Griffin Purves, Teah & Leah daughters of Karen Griffin Day.
This yr will mark 27 yrs ago since his passing. Danny's one of God's angels & he is watching over all of his loved ones. So when u feel a tug on your shirt, a tap on the shoulder or a little tickling on your cheek that feels like a light kiss, or a sudden light breeze in the room & there is no open windows or doors, when u turn around to look & no one is there, that will be Danny, letting u know he is there beside you.
Still in my heart, I have & always will, love him. Miss you my angel.
