My Story

On the evening of June 27, 1965 while piloting his a/c a C-123 Provider from Nha Trang, air base to Ton Son Nhut air base enemy ground fire apparently brought his a/c down. On Board were 14 Nationalist Chinese and one American, SSgt Billy L. Roth, USAF. To date, he has never come home from Vietnam. He is officially listed as KIA/BNR, killed in action, body not recovered. In my eyes, he still remains Missing In Action. He is survived by his 3 children, 7 grand children and 2 great grand children. His wife passed away on June 4, 1989.
