My Story

Cole Robert John LaPlant, age 4 months, passed away unexpectedly on November 25th, 2009. He was born on July 21st, 2009 to Frankie LaPlant and Nicole Fontaine. He was a precious little boy that could make anyone smile, and he had the sweetest smile. He will be greatly missed by his parents, Nicole and Frankie, his sisters, Cassidy, Sydney, and Katie, and his brother Dustin. He wil also be missed by his grandparents, Sandra and Dennis, and Shirley, his God-parents Jarred and Amy, and several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

I have had the privledge of knowing Nicole and Frankie for a few years now, and have watched them build a wonderful life and famil together. When little Cole was born they were so happy; you could see it in their faces and in the way they looked at him. My husband, children, and myself fell right in love with this new baby boy. The first time I held him I had tears in my eyes. In the short 4 months that he was here I was able to spend time with him and grew very close to him.

No one can understand why Cole's life ended so quickly. 4 months old is so young. I know that he is in heaven, but that does not make the hurt any less. I feel pain for his loss, I feel pain for his parents and family, and more than anything I just wish I could turn back the clock so I could have just one more visit with him. One more time to hold him and rock him. One more time to feed him a bottle and hold his tiny hand. Words can never express how much I love you Cole and how much Jarred, the boys and I miss you! Someday I will see you again Cole. I love you.

Cole LaPlant was a very very special boy whom we will forever miss. He's an angel now; he has his wings. May God hold him forever.
