A father, son, husband, grandfather, brother and uncle. He is loved and cherished by many people in his life. He was compassionate, strong and loving. He had so many wonderful qualities about him that made him so unique. The way he answered the phone HOWDY HOWDY, or the donald duck impression he did so well that made all around him laugh and smile. He had a way about him that was just so easy to be with him. I think we will all remember his goofy ways.
He had many accomplishments in his short time with us. He was a Seargent in the United Sates Air force, then to move on to become an La County Sheriff for over 25 years, he was a gymnist, runner, he sang in his church worship band, he counsled many in his lifetime wether it be in work, family, or life. and in the summer an annual family tradition took part in the rural olympics with his father , brother, nephew, and friends. He was a dedicated man not only to family and his life work but to friends and all he encountered.
He believed in the Lord and that when his time came he would be in an even greater place the kingdom of ever lasting life in peace and serenity with the lord and all he lost before him. When we recieved the heart wrenching news that early morning of february 29,2008 that he had gone onto the kingdom in the sky words can't begin to express our loss but our hearts will never forget the eagle that soars in the sky.We love you, you will carry on in our hearts and the memories we all will share, you will be loved you will never be forgotten and we will all meet again. you are to us what we wished we could have told you once more THE GREATEST MAN EVER. all our love ...
Those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength,
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.
