Daniel Ezman
Daniel Ezman, 31, of Spotsylvania County passed away unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 23, 2012.
Daniel was born in Carbondale, Pa., on Feb. 14, 1981. Known to many as “Dan,” “Dan the Man,” “Capt. Dan,” and especially “Uncle D,” he touched the hearts of everyone he came into contact with. He was a generous man, passionate about the outdoors, baseball, reading, music and most importantly family, both biological and extended.
Daniel loved the Yankees and being involved in Little League Baseball. He was a brilliant writer, but let few ever experience his writings. Many will remember his incredible ability to tell a story, and his humor. Daniel could bring a smile to anyone’s face, always seeming to know just the right thing to say.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Anne Marie and Gary Banfield of Spotsylvania County and Tony and Kim Ezman of Union Dale, Pa.; his sister, Amanda Pittman and her husband, Joseph, of Stafford County; his brothers, Anthony Joseph Ezman and his wife, Milla, of Spring City, Pa., Gari Banfield of Newport News and Michael Chernesky ofUnion Dale, Pa. Danielis also survived by, and will be incredibly missed by, his nephews, Joseph and Joshua Pittman and Christopherand Daniel Liam Ezman, and his niece, Melania Ezman. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lorette Bednash; and his uncles, aunts and cousins. He will also be greatly missed by more friends than one could have ever thought possible. Also, as many have inquired, his beloved Annabelle, 10-year old chocolate lab, will misshim dearly, but will be well taken care of per his final wishes.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of gifts, Daniel’s family asks that memories and stories be shared on how Daniel has touched your life. A memorial fund has been established and contributions may be sent to the Friends of the Rappahannock, 3219 Fall Hill Ave., Fredericksburg, Va. 22401.
The family thanks all who have reminded them of how valuable Daniel’s life was, and how much he will be missed.
