Ambition that flowed in oncoming streams
Flooding the depths of each days new scheme
A king in the moonlight by dusk will be gone
To make way for a new man and a new way to carry on
He shouted his dreams from amidst the streets
Then rooftops, then mountains, now from the heavens he screams
He screams out emotion and does it show clear
For the words fell as snow to ensure we would hear
And so it was, the earth then turned white
To brighten the darkness that's now in our lives
That's not what he wanted, though intentions unclear
He asked for his calling and the Lord being near
Then set him on his throne where he could be king
That's where he'll be with a smile on his face,
To greet each one of us as we walk through those gates
