Earl T. Woods of Bremerton passed away on Dec 31, 2104 at Harrison Hospital following a lengthy battle with COPD.
Earl was born on Jan 04, 1943 to Frederick & Betty Bothwell in Los Angeles, CA and later adopted by his maternal grandfather, Earl P. Woods.
Earl lived and attended school in the Los Angeles area until joining the US Navy in 1960. He met and married Jill Youdarian in Aug of 1961, moving to Bremerton and making their home in 1963. Earl worked as a truck driver and warehouseman until he became disabled in 1979.
Earl is survived by "Earl's Girls" (Re)Linda Bjornstad (Erik) of Stanwood, Pam Davis (Matt) of Belfair and Ginny Beall (Mark) of Bremerton, 7 grandchildren, Derick Ginder, Darren Ginder and Dana Kendall. Kayla Magerstaedt and Chase Davis. Jeremy and Danny Beall. 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Raite of Oklahoma.
Earl's hobbies included fishing, boating, camping, upholstery, wood working and his Corvette. He was deeply involved within the AA community and became the sponsor that many depended upon for their own recovery.
