Eddie was born on February 23, 1959 in Phoenix, Arizona to Oscar and Gloria. He had He was raised in California where he attended Glendora High School. He graduated in 1979. He had a passion for baseball and played through out his High School year. He recieved many honors and set many records. He was then accepted to Gonzaga University on a baseball scholarship.
