Erin O'Neill, 28, suddenly on March 17, 2010 from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident in rural New York. Erin was visiting friends and relatives in upstate New York during school vacation week and her parents have requested it be noted that email and texting while operating undoubtedly factored into this tragedy.
She is survived by her parents and two siblings. She is also survived by her grandparents, Maureen and John O'Neill and Mary and Walter Swindell of Lynn, several aunts and uncles and many cousins.
Erin was an astounding member of the Massachusetts Young Lawyers Trial Team and planned on pursuing a long and successful career. Erin was an active member of the BYPA. A duo of lightheartedness combined with a concern for others and a striking beauty impressed family and friends alike. Her love of life and passion for living has touched many lives and she will be greatly missed by all. The memory of her smile will keep our hearts warm until we meet again.
Calling hours Friday 4-7pm and Saturday 8-10am followed by a private Catholic service and burial. Internment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
