Carol Annette Johnson (Timm) Johnson was born December 18, 1938 in Winona, MN to Solven and Marjorie (Gilbertson) Johnson. Carol passed away on December 11, 2009 at North Memorial Hospital, Minneapolis, MN. A memorial service was held on December 18 at the Hennepin Methodist Church. Cremation burial will be held at a later date at Lakewood Cemetery.
Carol was married to Vernon Thomas Timm. They had four children: Susan, Jane, Beth and Jeffrey. She also had seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Carol later changed her name back to Johnson. She was a member of Jehovah's Witness. She attended West High School until the 11th grade, later in life got her GED certificate.
Carol was one of seven childrenthree brothers: Orland, Marlin (Hazel) and Allan (Judy). She also had three sisters: Sandra Johnson, Barbara Slavens (Steve), and Terrie Blesi (Loren).
A memorial service was held with sharing of remembrances by Susan, Shelley, Rachel, Annette and Allan. Special music was provided by her brother Allan singing "You'll Never Walk Alone", with a service of worship celebrating her life conducted by a pastor of HAUMC.
Preceding her in death were her parents and brother Marlin.
