We have lost such a great man, husband, brother and friend. I believe sharing our loss will help us to ease our hearts. My brother I know has meant something to each and every one of you, personally, he was our brother with such a huge, open heart and we will miss him. He would open his door, make a home cooked meal, give a massage and always be a friend. I remember as children he was both instigator, comic relief and protector. He knew the theme song to every show that had been on television from the 1950's on. This was a special game to guess the show just by hearing him sing the tune (no words...just music). He also had a wonderful talent of imitation. He loved to imitate the likes of John Wayne and Walter Brennan. He had this trait where he could always turn a dull party around. My brother was such a character. He knew how to be serious at times and he also knew when to joke around. One of the character traits that I will always remember and will hold a special part in my heart was his disregard for himself when it came to standing up for what he believed in. You see, our brother believed it was wrong to take up arms against another brother. He was a protestor for the Vietnam War and as such he gave 2 years of his live for his committment. I bless him and thank him for his sacrifice. I am thankful for all the special moments that my brother has left us. And with that, I know that my brother is still enjoying his music and will continue to live on within our hearts and minds.
