I remember Harold's love of baseball and going to see him play at
Little Falls WI on Sunday afternoons. Also when he listened to
ballgames on the radio he would really get into it, shouting and
jumping up from his chair. As a little kid I didn't understand
baseball, but I thought he was quite entertaining.
Also I remember his playing the fiddle...jazz! I think it was true
...
Dad,
You were always close in my thoughts even when I was far away. When I needed help with my golf swing, you were there. When I needed a boost of confidence after failing a test in sophomore English, you were there. And when I needed a model of integrity and fortitude during my stint in the army, you were my example.
