Hazel Antoinette Mitchell was our dearest Mummy, a retired Head Mistress of the Railway Mixed Primary School, Gooty a small railway town in the Andhra Pradesh. She was known to be the best English Teacher with a unique specialty in nurturing the academic minds of little children. Her most favorite class was the Grades 1 & II whom she always referred to as “her babies”. It was well known that children who passed through Mrs. H. Mitchell in their kindergarten years did extremely will in their academics.
As our Mummy, she was there to see that we were well cared for in every sense of the word. Together with our dad (George Allen Mitchell) they were dedicated to their jobs to give us the best in life, and it is to their generous and caring hearts we are where we are today. A fairly strict upbringing and a strong hand with our studies, we could laugh with her and tell her our cares and troubles and she was always there to listen and offer a consoling word. We learnt many valuable lessons in life from our Mummy amongst others, to consider the needs of our children before ours by self sacrificing, be tidy/clean freaks, drill our kids with their lessons, so that they are have achieve high academic standards and to be protective.
Most all she relentless prayed for us, and for all her relatives who passed away, always caring to remember he dad and her mum and our sweet dear sweet adorable and beautiful baby sister (her baby daughter) Georgina Christina who passed away at the tender age of only 8 breaking our mummy’s heart http://www.imorial.com/GeroginaMitchell/and

To her grand children she was THEIR nana. To each one she dedicated sweet caring love and devotion. We will miss our mummy very much but take consolation in knowing that she is not more pain and loneliness and happily joined by her sweet young daughter Georgina, her husband George, her mom Mabel, her dad Earnest, her sisters Mavis and Hyacinth, her brother Douglas and, brothers in law Lindley, Gerry and Pat, nephews Gladstone and Lester.
Our mummy passed away as the proud mother seeing her children well married and settled down. Her eldest daughter Andrea Lorraine Anne married to Neri Rozario with one daughter Dawn-Madonna Ann; her eldest son Kevin George married to Laura Melder with their three children, daughter Channel, sons Calvin and Carston; her baby son Clinton Allen married to Melissa Rodrigues with their two daughters Christine and Chelsa; her daughter after many years Kathlien Marian married to Keith Brown with their two sons Karl and Kraig and; her youngest daughter Caroline Anne married to Keith Briggs with their two sons Branden and Dylan.
Would we have loved her to live on forever….yes…most definitely!
