My Story

   Ianna was 22 weeks old, and was taken from us too early. She loved to move lots in my tummy in the mornings and in the evenings. She loved Chinese food; I was constantly eating it throughout the pregnancy. I don't think she could get enough of it. She loved to drive the nurses and doc crazy; whenever they would look for a heartbeat she would kick the Doppler then move as soon as they found it. She defiantly had the Vaughn personality. Ianna was born on Nov 23, 2008 at 6:32pm. She was 1 pound 1 oz, and 11 1/2 inches long. She fit perfectly in the nook of our arms. She had mommy’s nose and feet and daddy’s hands and face and shoulders. She was just starting to get her fat. She also had daddy's olive complexion and his dark hair. She even had a few little curls, another Vaughn trait.
   I was kicking mommy right up until I was born. I had to go back to the Lord in heaven, he needed me there. Mom was sick with a very bad infection because her cervix had dilated without her knowing it, and daddy couldn't bear the thought of losing mommy too. They tried to save me, but I was born sleeping only 6 weeks shy of making it on my own. She had what’s called a incompetent cervix, which no one could have predicted. The infection almost took her too if they would have waited any longer.
   Ianna is with long lost family and friends in heaven, and her great grandmother that passed away Nov 24, 2008. She was laid to rest next to her uncle in Ogden Township on Horton, looking out over the hills and trees, and beautiful skies.
