James Michael (Mike) Moore was a sweet, liked young man. He was considered the leader of his Cub Scouts club and enjoyed wearing his Cub Scout uniform even when he wasn't in meetings. Tragically, Michael was brutally murdered on May 5, 1993 at the tender age of 8. His life touched those he knew and didn't know.
"I can't imagine.... what was going through Michael's mind... was he... calling for me? How long did they leave him there tied up on that ditch-bank before they decided to kill him? What were they doing to him?" said his father, Todd Moore.
"Was he conscious or unconscious? Did he watch the other two boys........ get cut?"asked his mother, Diane Moore.
At least we know now that Michael is happy and safe in the arms of Jesus, away from any pain.
