My Story

This is in memory of my dad. I didn't get to meet my dad until I was 8 yrs old & tried to establish a relationship with him over the years that followed. I kept in touch with him to the best of my abilities & was thrilled that despite all that he had to endure & go through in his life - the one major event in my life which was my wedding on 10/4/03 I was sure he wouldn't come to - he did travel to see me get married. The hardest part for me now is that with him gone, he's buried in Seattle & I live in NJ. So, I don't have a grave to visit, or a stone to decorate. All I have is this picture that I look at every day. Rest in peace daddy. The only thing that puts me at peace is knowing that the last conversation we had which was a day before he died - my last words to him was that I loved him & he replied, I love you to. Thank you daddy for serving our county. Go Army Strong - I'm sorry that we didn't get to know eachother better. But know that you will always hold a special place in my heart. I'll love you always, Kristin.
