My Story

Our dad, John Nordgren was born in Rockford, Illinois. Where he met our mother, Katherine Mclain and married her. They were married a total of 55 years. They had three girls and a son. Teresa, Tina and Cindy and John Michial. Numerious grand children, and great grand children .They moved to central Florida, Lakeland, Fl. Dad worked at Owens Corning, where I worked and hubby Bill and my brother also worked there with my dad. Mom and him also had a bar in downtown Lakeland for a bit, Zimmermen's. Then dad went to Tenoroc to work, he worked there till he started getting sick a year ago December, He was diagnosed with Pancrea's cancer last June, and under went an eight hour surgery. But the cancer had spread, he kept his wonderful sense of humor to the very last. He had so many friends, every one that met him liked and loved him and respected him. His grand children all loved him with out limits and the great grandbabes also, He was nick named , by them grandpa banana's, as when he visited them he would bring banana's for them all. He was a loving father, always there for us when we needed him. A loving husband to my mother and a wonderful grand parent . Dad we love you and miss you so very, very much, it hurts so, that we have loss you! Love you always my dadda, your loving daughter Teresa
