During the tragic loss of our 17 year old son
in an automobile accident on February 16, 2004.
We never thought that one day we would have to
say that we have lived eight years without him.
We didn't think that life could possibly go on.
But god has shown us that he is faithful to his
word. He has given us hope as we,
"his parents" tried not to live, yet had to live..
Picture a young teen, full of promise for
the future, who loved life and lived each
moment as if it were his last.
A teen who at the age of seventeen had
already graduated high school.
A teen whose ambition was to be a
diesel mechanic and race dirtbikes.
Well known for his big heart, Josh was always
happy and he wanted everyone else to be
happy too. People of all ages were drawn
to him like a magnet, because he sincerely
loved people. The most contentment he
found was to be with someone, anyone!
Josh saw no difference in people. He had many
many friends. He loved having them come and go
as if our home was their home. And as parents,
We were delighted with our identity as
"JOSH"S MOM AND DAD".
At the age of eight, nine and ten, Josh played
little league baseball. Josh fell in love with
fourwheelers and dirtbikes at the age of ten.
He got his first dirtbike at the age of ten
and his first fourwheeler at the age of twelve.
Riding the trails was his favorite past time,
especially if he had someone to ride with him.
At the age of fifteen, Josh got his first vehicle.
From then on, It was all about vehicle's and
fixing them up.
He also loved video games, fishing, camping,
hunting and horseback riding, but he wasn't
content unless he was sharing these with
a friend. He truly loved his friends
We beleive he continues to do this in spirit...
Eight years without Josh, we are still frieghtened beyond words to think about our future without him. Part of us died when we were told that Josh was gone. All that we have left is to trust in God and wait for the day that we can be with him again...
We'll See you in heaven Josh!
