A Letter About A Wonderful Woman
Not only was she a wonderful woman but that wonderful woman was our Mother, a giving Grandmother, true friend, caring sister, loving aunt, fun cousin, and our Father’s beautiful wife.
Anyone that knew her would say they were lucky to have her in their life,She was so much fun to be around her smile would light up the room, her laughter was contagious ,and she gave great hugs and kisses! She always tried to keep herself up she was so beautiful. When she was young she had long dark brown hair and legs that would stop traffic! Always dressed to the hilt and had many changing hairstyles ,I remember when I was just a little girl looking up at her and just being in awe of her beauty ,I will never forget the towering beehive she had ! I was sure she would tip over but she always held her head high . She made my childhood so much fun too. We would clean house every Saturday morning ,which usually is not too much fun but with my mom she made it a good time ,we would be dusting and she would put on a record then grab my dust rag and say”It’s time to dance “ then round and round we would go !! I was pretty lucky because for such a little girl I was part of many groups thanks to her.Let’s see , I was a Supreme, Cher, a Temptation, and even Elvis himself !! Had so much fun .. she could really dance ,she taught me to shake it ! Still dancing to this day because of her . Then when I got a bit older she gave me two beautiful sisters , Paula then Karla man the three of us had such a good relationship ,even though they were so much younger than I we always got along ,then it was my turn to teach them to dance …. Paula did but somehow my little sister didn’t want to participate . That’s ok because she was our audience, what would a dancer be without a crowd to watch right?
Well and laugh at us too but that’s besides he point . Ahhh the memories …Mom was a very hard worker , she worked every day but still found the time to cook us a hot meal and be the best Mother any kid could ask for . You may think that because this is a tribute to her I say these things but it is all true !!! Anyone reading this will know inside their heart it is . She was a good wife too ,always there for my dad when he needed her and loving him all the ways she knew how . I respect her for that ,she knew how to love and love is what she did . Well just wanted to touch on a few things that were in my heart …. This is all for YOU MOM ..Love always your daughter, Laura
