Died Sunday, July 7, 2013. Karl passed
peacefully with his son by his side.
Karl was a loving and caring father and
grandfather.
Karl is survived by his son: Joel Anderson;
his two sisters: Karen Anderson and Krista Rice; two grandchildren; nieces and
nephews.
Born, January 1955 in Portland, Maine Karl was
the son of the late Arthur and Patricia Anderson of Yarmouth, Maine where he
spent his youth.
Karl was a compassionate man who tended
respectfully to the elderly and dotingly to the young. He loved his step-grandchildren who equally
loved him back.
Prior to moving to Florida in 2005, Karl lived in Sandown and Salem, NH
respectively, where he retired from Coca Cola after 31 years of service. Most
recently Karl worked for SteriCycle.
Karl was a skilled craftsman and talented Jack-of-all-Trades. Karl most
loved the Blues and loved playing his harp (harmonica) making up riffs to
entertain…he loved jazz and all music. However, Karl will best be remembered for
his sense of humor and silly high-pitched laughter. His ability to make you
smile; to make light of a situation; and make you laugh at yourself and
him.
Karl left a lasting footprint on all whose lives he touched.
