My Story

Bobby, was my Uncle, he was my fathers half brother, but he was raised with our family as a brother to me and my siblings, he was just one year older than me so we were very close, Bobby was born 1956 to Louise & Robert Landbloom in Renton Washington, I believe where The Old K-mart was and now is McClendons Hardware. That was then the beginning to Valley Medical Center, Bobby was a cute baby as I can see him in baby pictures, him and I played together as with my cousin Bill and my brother John, we all played good together growing up. When bobby was 11ish I believe he found out he had Childhood diabeties, which back in those days there was not to much knowledge about the disease, but he had to take insulin from then on out and watch his diet, also they didn't think he would live to be 40. Well this was devestating to my grandmother (Louise), So she would raise bobby with kid gloves and well protect him as any mother would do. When Bobby was in his 30's his kidneys were failing very fast and he needed a transplant he was very close to death then he lived on dyalasis basicly, when my father (his 1/2 brother) stepped up and gave him one of his (kidney) he was a match thank the lord, this meant Bobby would live and it was so up lifting to our family that this miracle would happen. Bob then lived a pretty normal life for awhile (20 years) until he began to have problems again, which the last two years in and out of shock, he had a few bad falls and he just wasn't the same. He went down hill from the falls, but I know in my heart Bobby lived his life to the fullest and did what he wanted to do, I will miss him being around, he was easy to talk to, he had a heart, he cared for his family and his friends, He will be missed by all who knew him.
