My Story

He was husband of Lynn Marie Hilferty Davis with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.

Larry was born in Albion, Nebraska, the son of John Davis and Daisy (Coatney) Davis.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Michael Davis of Camden and his daughter Michelle Jansen and her husband Arjan of the Netherlands.

Larry was a veteran of the Vietnam, Gulf, and Iraq Wars having served in the United States Air Force and the Air Force Reserves retiring after serving 37 services of honorable service as a Loadmaster Supervisor. He was a member of the Marantha Baptist Church in Camden. Larry was an enthusiast and kept busy with his hobbies of collecting memorabilia from the old west and WWII. He also loved to fly, restore old cars and was an avid reader.

Besides his father, his two sisters, Louise Coy and Mildred Tanner, preceded him in death.
