My Story

Lawrence Edward Coney was born October 7. 1971 to William Warlord and Jacqueling Coney in Kankakee, IL at Riverside Medical Center. Lawrence was a God fearing child who enjoyed sharing Bible stories with his mother and having a little study time as well. He also loved being around family and friends.

His mother Jacqueline Coney of Kankakee, three sisters Samantha "Pinky" Allen, Nicole "Nikki" Chess, Jessica "Jessie" Collins, and one brother Sentray "Tre" Coney. Grandmother Ella Reddick, aunt Kimberly "Kim" Taylor formerly Coney, and cousin Eric Weir and special friend Trish Holt, all of Florida.

Lawrence lived in Kankakee from 1971 to 1990 and moved to Florida in which was his home afterwards. Bo greeted everyon with big warm smiles all of the time and was very outgoing and real cool guy.

He grew on up on the GREENWOOD!!! where he met most of his childhood buddies and stayed close to before moving away. He loved to party, have fun. I always remember him listening to Reggae music and House music in his room or riding in the car. He enjoyed cooking

Bo enjoyed spending time with his friends while he lived in the Kankakee area which included Daniel Price, John and Nell Smith, Fred Edwards, Gilford Bailey, Tryan Williams and Paris Watson.

On December 14th, a few family members were reuinited with Lawrence to enjoy family time and exchange stories and to prepare for his home going. We looked through photo albums and had heart felt memories from our childhood.

My mother and sisters brought hime plenty of treats to eat; like Poor Boys "Italian Beef Combo", Bud "Hot HeadCheese" ( yum yum) and about a good 4 bags of good ole Okey-Doke Popcorn. HA! HA!

He really enjoyed that a lot, He didn't get to have any rib tips though!

I would like to take the time to thank his woman of 3 years Trish Holt for putting up with my brothers manners (haha). Time can never thank you enough for all the support you gave our son, and bother and friend Love You soo soo much GIRL!

BIG BRO you will be surely missed!!!
