My Story

My Mama was everything to me, my sisters and my brother. She was the sweetest lady I ever knew. She loved going to thrift stores, reading, listening to music, watching Nascar races, Elvis, baskets, teapots and all of her family and friends, especially her 5 grandchildren-Justin, Alicia, Erica, Sara & Jake. She also loved her husband Tom very much. In 2005 she was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer which spread to her brain and caused her to have multiple strokes. She tried therapy and fought for as long as she was able. She will be missed evryday until we meet her on the far side banks of Jordan.

A light once shone so brightly
In our home so happy and gay
But a gentle hand touched lightly
And beckoned our light, "This way"
A brighter star now shines on high
We’ve an angel in heaven to pray
For us, who are left, to earnestly pray
