In memory of my mother
You were a precious gift from God above,
so much beauty, grace and love.
You touched our hearts in so many ways,
your smile so bright even on the bad days.
You heard God's whisper calling you home,
you didn't want to go and leave us alone.
You loved us so much, you held on tight,
till all the stregnth was gone and you could no longer fight.
He had called your name twice before,
you knew you couldn't make him wait anymore.
So you gave your hand to God and slowly drifted away,
knowing that with our love we will be together again some day.
I Never saw Your Wings
How is it that I never saw your wings
when you were here with me?
When you closed your eyes and soared
to the Heavens I could hear the
faint flutter of you wings as you left.
Your body no longer on this side
your spirit here eternally I see your halo shine.
I close my eyes and see the multicolored wings
surround me in my saddest moments and my happiest times.
Mother my angel God has given you your assignment
always my mother forever my angel.
You fly into my dreams and when I am asleep
I feel your wings brush against my face wiping away
the tears I shed since I can no longer hold
you in my arms but in my heart.
You earned those wings dear mother
and you will always be me angel eternal.
You will be missed by all of you family and friends. You were a mother, a friend, a sister, a daughter, a grandma and much more. I know you are an angel now and watching over us your kids, your grandkids and other family and friends. We are so happy you are not in pain anymore and you are feeling so much better. it was hard on all of us the day you left us and went to be with god, but yet we were happy for you at the same time. Your memories will live on in our hearts for always. we all love you so much and miss you lots.
