I remember everytime we went some where. Mom would always sing. Buckle up for safety buckle up. We wouldn't move until we were all buckled in. Then the fun would begin. Mama had a bit of a lead foot. Also when she danced, she would bite here lower lip when she really got going.
Today Nathan & I visited mom's burial site. Nathan shoveled a path through the snow and I placed a bouquet of flowers & a pink ribbon balloon next to her headstone. The sun was shining and keeping us warm in the cold air, and a woodpecker greeted us from a nearby tree. I can't believe it's been 20yrs! Love you mom!
One of my favorite memories is cranking up the radio and dancing around the living room. :)
From a child's mind: I remember my mom's favorite color was green, and she loved to snack on peanut M&Ms and Diet Coke.
