My Story

   Mark was a Junior in high school when he past away in a car accident. He was involved in football, baseball, and youth group. He loved to watch nascar and go hunting. He worked hard and loved to spend time with his family, friends, and pets. He was a careing and loving person that is missed everyday.


                                                         Leaving Footprints in our Hearts
   Strength and courage are not always measured in medals and victories. They are measured in the struggles we overcome. The strongest person is not always the person who wins, but the person who does not give up when he might lose. Mark never gave up. He stuck with whatever he was doing no matter what it took. He always wanted to win, but it he lost, he did not give up. He always tried harder the next time. Many people looked up to him. He would give 110%. Mark was a true role model in all sports.
   Mark lived life to the fullest. "Let deeds match words." (Platus). Mark lived by these words. He always strived to do his very best in all endeavors. Truly, his deeds did match his word.
   Mark would walk into the room with a big smile on his face. His smile was so contagious that you had to return a smile to him. During class, Mark would listen to a lesson or a new concept absorbing all that was taught. He knew the importance of an eduaction.
   Mark was a strong person. He never let anyone or anything bother him. He always respected others and their choices in life.
   Mark has a passion for hunting and fishing. He knew exactly when wach new season started. With eyes all lit up, he would tell of his adventure in the woods or by a running stream. Expressing his knowlegde of nature, he would share his tales with all.
   Youth group and hanging out with his friends wer important to mark. He enjoyed watching a movie or talking with friends. He always had a listening ear. Family and friends were important to him.
   Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay awhile and leave footprints in out hearts. Mark was a person who left footprints in many peoples' hearts.
