Nevaeh Amyah Buchanan was born on February 3, 2004 in Monroe, Michigan. She was the beautiful daughter of Jennifer Buchanan and Shane Hinojosa.
Nevaeh had a smile that could warm a room, a personality that could tame the wildest heart, and a love for life that was only second to her love of family. Nevaeh had made her home in Monroe for several years with her maternal grandmother: Sherry Buchanan. She also shared many memories with her mother Jennifer of Monroe; her paternal grandparents: Carla and John Elliotte of Toledo; paternal great grandmother: Joanne Combs; maternal uncle: Michael Buchanan and his Fiancé Kelly Duvall of Newport; great aunts: Diane Lawson of Monroe and Mildred Bores of Kevey, KY; paternal aunts: Danielle Owens and Leslie Umensetter; and great uncles: Arnold Lawson of Monroe and Norman and Cathy Dewilde of Monroe.
Nevaeh was an excellent student. She enjoyed every day at Preschool, and recently had graduated from the Discovery Preschool Program at Cantrick. She could often be found spending time at the playground or hanging out with her new best friend Austin. She thought that she was "hot stuff" while driving her Power Wheels Escalade or riding her scooter. Even at the age of five, Nevaeh enjoyed the sound and look of a motorcycle.
Nevaeh Amyah Buchanan age 5 of Monroe was delivered safely into the arms of her Savior. Her family mourns her loss but she has gained her wings.
