YORK Robert T. "Bob" Ridinger, Jr., 80, entered into rest on Monday June 18, 2007, at York Hospital. He was the husband of I. Jeannette (Meter) Ridinger, who passed away June 4, 2001. Bob was born February 21, 1927, in York, son of the late Robert T. and Catherine Ridinger. He retired from AMP Inc., as a gauge technician. Prior to that he was a tool and die maker for Kroy Machine Co. He was a graduate of William Penn High School and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWll, serving on the U.S.S Pasadena. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, where he founded the bingo ministry and ran it for 30 years; Knights of Columbus 4th degree; and American Legion Post No. 799 in Pleasureville. A viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2114 W. Market St., and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, with a funeral service at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Bob is survived by four children, Carolyn L. Crimmins, Thomas R. Ridinger, Donald E. Ridinger, all of York, and Joan M. Snyder of Dover; six grandchildren, Melissa, Jennifer, Crystal, Mary, Jason, and Jesi; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin.
