Shanea was a great cousin, and we shared a lot of great memories. There was one time when my big sister and Shanea tried to teach me how to swim at my uncle's house. Unfortunatly it didn't work, but it was so much fun just hanging out with her. I used to think how cool it was to go over and visit my cousins at there house, because they were so much older than me. I'm going to miss you so much and so will so many other people. Thanks for being a great cousin, and have fun standing hand and hand by God. -Brandy Curry

When I think about Shanea I think about all the good times that we had when we were little. I remember when we would all get together at grandma's house for the holidays. Grandma had this white storage house in her backyard that we turned into our "club house". Shanea named it Shanea's Sweet Sugar Shack. Then there was the time that Shanea and I went for a "walk". We went into houses that were under contruction and got all muddy. We were walking around covered in mud until Uncle Stan and Clayton got us. I was so afraid that my mom and dad were going to find out that Shanea and I were in those houses when we knew that we shouldn't have been. Shanea, thanks for being my cousin. I will remember the night we put on a fashion show for grandma, I will remember the Sunday that I couldn't keep my eyes open in church because we stayed up all night watching movies, I will remember the night that we waited for Uncle Stan and Aunt Debby to go to bed so we could go downstairs to the pantry and eat Pecan Sandies (we ate so many that night that I still don't eat those to this day), and I will remember the first time that you talked to me about your highschool boyfriend even though I didn't know a thing about boys. Thanks for all the good times, may you rest in peace.- Lindsay Curry (Fort Worth, TX)

Shanea meant so much to me. I was her Step-grandmother but I thought of her as my actual granddaughter. She will be greatly missed by us all, and she will always in my heart. May she rest in peace in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ -Connie Ward (Fort Worth, TX) |
