My Story

How do I even begin to tell the story of the wonderful woman my wife and became. I had the privilege of getting to grow up with her. She taught me so much about how to care for others over myself. A lesson I don't think I truly realized until she was ripped away from me. Certainly a lesson I never properly thanked her for. She was our holiday glue and glitter, she was our feast preparer, she was the party planer, and the festivity thrower. I heard the home she made for us be described as festive, warm, inviting, homey, sweet, loving and so many other things. I heard the marriage that we shared be described as, amazing, blessed, the fairytale, something special, and the real deal. When someone needed a hand, Starla was there. When they were having babies, she was there to host a shower, cook, clean, or just drop off a few meals. Same for friends having surgery. She was a wonderful person and I will miss her everyday.
