Steven Edward "Stevie" Branch was a bright, beautiful kid. He taught himself to flip and make karate moves like the Ninja Turtles. Stevie was an honor student. He had a pet dog named King as well as a turtle. Once, he even bought a birthstone ring for the sister of his friend (Michael Moore).
Although it's hard to believe, this wonderful kid was brutally murdered in May of 1993, when he was just eight years old. This excerpt is taken from Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hill.
Question: "Do you blame yourself, for this?"
Pamela Hobbs, mother:" I have... I have.. I have been on a guilt-trip about it, but it wasn't my fault, I was at work."
Question: "Have you contemplated... joining Stevie? Have you thought about suicide?"
Pamela: "Have I? I've felt like dying..."
He is missed and loved by all who were blessed with his presence. Now he is forever adored in Heaven with God.
