My Story

Todd Francis Nagle, 64, of Cardiff CA passed away Nov. 25th 2011 from a heart attack.

He was born in Somerset, PA on July 26, 1947 to Francis and Avis Nagle.  He spent his childhood years in Pennsylvania.  He attended Indiana University of PA before joining the United States Navy.  He served from 1967 to 1971, spending time stationed in Vietnam and Hawaii.  Todd served on a Fletcher class Destroyer.  Following his Naval career, Todd went back to college, receiving his BS in Marketing from San Diego State University. 

His career in manufacturing/operations included Helle Engineering and ACDC, where he met many dear friends; Hughes Network Systems, where he met his life partner Jo Ann Prutz; Linear Corporation, where he reunited with many past work colleagues.

Todd's interest include the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, wine tasting, road trips, playing with McCloud and McKenzie, gardening, dinner parties with friends and family, gambling, walks on the beach, playing games, horse races, wild life TV shows, crossword puzzles, animated films, and reading.  Todd had a true love and passion for animals and the great outdoors.

He is survived by partner, Jo Ann Prutz, her daughters Jennifer Byerly and Susie Storey, their children Alexandra Storey, Zachary Storey and Cole Byerly, and many cherished friends of note.

A memorial service in celebration of Todd's life will be held on Dec. 11th at 10:30 AM.
