TROY MURRELL:
" To all that met him, he touched the hearts and minds of all and made them feel good about
themselves. He showed who they really were and what they could really do. He gave the light, love, understanding and gave strength and support to all. He just did his best. "
Not how did he die, but how did he live?
Not what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
Not, what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when he passed away.
Troy Murrell was born in Australia on March 8th 1980 in Penrith NSW. As he was growing up, he lived in country towns in NSW and QLD. A country man at heart he liked the laid-back and simple setting of the country life and liked the tranquil atmosphere that the country provided.
His patient nature and inquiring mind helped in his fascination with cars, gadgets and computers - he wanted to know how things work to the tiniest detail. His Grandfather nurtured his talent by spending a lot of time with him in the garage. As he was growing up, Troy was known to ask if he could pull apart a gadget or an appliance to see how they worked or what was needed to fix it. He generously gave his time to help his family and friends whenever they needed an extra hand, a listening ear, a laugh, and help with their car or computer troubles.
A son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin, partner and companion, friend, joker, prankster, and in his own words, he was "hardcore!" There is no doubt that he was a loving and generous man, he would be the person who would give you his own shirt if you needed one. He was someone who can strike a conversation with strangers, an easy going man who easily made friends. A reliable and dependable man - if any of his family and friends were in need of help, he would be the first person to hold out his hand.
He lived his life the best way he could and he treated everyone equally and fairly. He will always be remembered and will always live in our hearts. Troy was a man nobody can replace. He was unique and special.
Your life won't be measured by the years that you lived but by the love and happiness you gave to all, asking nothing in return. You were the strength, love and guide to your family and to everyone whose lives you touched. No man is indispensable but you are irreplaceable
So deeply missed and forever in our hearts
