My Story

This is the story of my life.Charles Edward Miller Sr was born April 1, 1947 in Huntingberg, Indiana. His parents were Charles Lester Miller and Catherine Eugene Douglas Miller of Wynne, Arkansas. He lived most of my life in Cross County Arkansas.He had eleven sibblings; seven sisters (Rose Mary Miller, Jean Starkey,Debbie Martin, Cathy Adams, , Doris Creasey, Louise Franklin, and Sandra Cheney) and four brothers (Raymond Miller, Alvin Miller, Wayne Miller, and Paul Miller). He was married three times in my life. The first wife was to Etta Janette Bratton-Miller- Leisure. They had two children Angela Annette Miller-Chism-Bailey and Charles Edward Miller Jr. He accquired three grandchildren from Angela (Bryan Miller, Charlie Miller, and Samuel Bailey) His second wife was Diane Busby-Miller which he aquired three step daughters Robin Sherman, Renee Boone, and Rhonda Matlock, and one step son Danny Scarbrough. He had acquired seven step grandchildren. (Nicole Sherman,John Sherman, Cody McCoy, Tre Boone, Rebecca Boone, Tiffany Scarbrough, and Victoria Scarbrough). His last wife was Valerie Mae Ellis-Chappell-Miller whom preceded in death with me on January 7, 2005.He acquired two step daughters in this marriage. (Kimberly Chappell and Terra Chappell-Shahan) He also acquired two step grandchildren (Kayla Shahan and Kenton Shahan) He owned and operated his own business of twenty one years Charlie's Lawn Service for which his son Eddie owns now and operates. He was a member of Union Avenue Baptist Church and volenteer and member of the Emerency Rosponse Team. He and his wife Valerie was killed in a car accident on January 7, 2005. My father will be greatly missed by so many people he had touched in some way throughout his life. My father was and is my mentor in everything that I do in my life.
