Mr Anil Baran Sinha Roy migrated from Bangladesh (Then East Pakistan) to Calcutta, the city of joy, in times when survival was important, and he understood this fact quite well. Having been an excellent student in his childhood, he secured a position with the shoemaking giant BATA in their heyday.
He, and his friend "Fani" established themselves in Kolkata, Batanagar. He brought his brother's kids to Kolkata, married a fine young lady in the city and set up a legacy that continues till date.
Generations have come and gone, yet nobody can probably ever live up to the standards of humanity that he set forth for all of us.
This 28th of June, We, his descendants, deeply mourn his sad demise.
May his soul rest in peace.
