Anne Lehne....
I did not know much about her private life..none of us did. We did know that she loved to laugh, loved dirty jokes and that her personality was larger than life. We spent our working days laughing at dirty and funny jokes. She was always happy. I have never seen Anne grumpy or sad. She never complained of anything..even when she was sick she managed to make us laugh.
This poem is exactly what Anne would say....
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
(Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!)
May You Rest in Peace
