My Story

Eric was born the eldest of five children with one brother and three sisters. His mother died fourteen months before him and his father is still living aged 86yrs.  Eric was a funny man very generous and caring loved the outdoors gardening keeping fit running and going to the gym.Because of this his diagnosis at 56yrs old of malignant mesothelioma was devastating. He worked with asbestos between the ages of 18 and 21 before I met him.We married when Eric was 22 and I was 20  we had three children  Joanne Jamie and Gilly and then six grandchildren the youngest being born 10 weeks after his death and she was born on my birthday 14TH April. He died eight months after being diagnosed and suffered a great deal.We all miss him very much and he will be especially missed at our youngest daughers wedding on the 10th May 2008.
