My Story

Sandy was my mother-in-law. She was one of the kindest, most forgiving people I have ever met. When God said the meek shall inherit the earth, I know Sandy was one of the "meek" he was speaking of.  The word "meek" means to be gentle, humble, or considerate. Those who are willing to share and sacrifice in behalf of others are meek. This fit Sandy exactly. She was always considerate of others, no matter who they were or what they had done. She saw the good in everyone and was willing to forgive them for anything. She loved our Lord and made sure that she had a close relationship with our Father in Heaven. She lived by His word and her actions showed it.
Sandy loved her children with everything she had and would do anything for them. And the way she would light up when they were around was amazing! She was a very special mom, one that you could just feel her love and patience with everyone.
I feel so Blessed to have had Sandy in my life and I can't wait for the day that we get to see her again!
Sandy, we ALL Love you and will hold onto the special memories you have left us with. We know that you are watching over us and spending this special time with our Lord and Savio,r saving us all a special spot with you there. We know this isn't Goodbye, it's just a time that we must be apart from you and we will meet again when our journey here is through. Until then Sandy, you are in our hearts! <3

COME WITH ME
The Lord saw you getting tired, And a cure was not to be
So He put his arms around you and whispered, "Come with me."

With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer & saw you fade away,
Although we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, A beautiful smile at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove, He only takes the Best!

It's lonesome here without you, We miss you so each day,
Our lives aren't the same, Since you went away.

When days are sad and lonely, and everything goes wrong,
We seem to hear you whisper, "Cheer up & carry on."

Each time we see your picture, you seem to smile & say,
"Don't cry, Im in God's keeping, we'll meet again someday."

I didn't get to say "goodbye"' & all the words I wanted you to hear.
I should have said them when I had my chance, But I thought that you'd always be near.

I ran out of time to let you know, just how much you meant to me.
I should have told you, but I thought you knew, but now I will never know, if you really did see.

When I talk to you in my prayers at night, I hope you can hear all I have to say.
I would have told you, if only I could, have had you back for one more day.

Perhaps there were words you wanted to say also, that were left unsaid by you.
But I do know that you loved me, as you knew I loved you too.

We should always say what we feel in our heart, as tomorrow may never come, Speak those words today as you feel them,
and never lose your chance to tell someone. Because "We did not get to say Goodbye"

There's magic in a Mother's touch,
And sunshine in her smile.
There's love in everything she does
To make our lives worthwhile.
We can find both hope and courage
Just by looking in her eyes.
Her laughter is a source of joy,
Her works are warm and wise.
There is a kindness and compassion
To be found in her embrace,
And we see the light of heaven
Shining from a Mother's face.
