Mom was a very special woman, she was a loving, caring and devoted Mother, Step Mother,Grandmother,Step Grandmother and Friend. She could always make you smile with the things she did and said, she was a crazy lady in a good way and so full of life and living was something Mom knew how to do. she loved her Music and Parties, not to mention she also loved her LAMBS(RUM). In 2001 she lost her best friend, her husband Arch Whiteway, Mom's heart was slowly dying since then as she never did get over him and had a hard time after that. Mom just know that you are in a safe place free from hurt, pain or anything that could possibly harm you. You are forever home with your loving husband and bestest friend Arch. We will always cherish all the memories we had and never forget the times we've shared with you. You will forever be in the hearts of those who knew you, and you will never be forgotten, We Love You Mom!!!
Barbara Ann Whiteway( Fordham) who was taken from us on September 17th, 2009 at 630pm Newfoundland time. Our Mother was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in August,2009 we were devistated, and Mom Was so upset as anyone in her shoes would have been. Mom ended up in hospital on Tuesday September 8th, 2009 when she found it difficult to breath. Mom had a full body scan done on her Thursday September 10th, 2009 and the results of that was the Cancer had spread to the brain, liver, both lungs as well as the adrenal glands Mom had what you call Adeno Carcinoma. The doctors decided to do 5 Bouts of Radiation on her brain and in the lungs, but soon to find that the Cancer was too far gone and that nothing else could be done for her as Mom was not strong enough to handle Chemotherapy. Mom fought right til the very end and was bound and determined that she was gonna be alright, she never ever did give up fighting, but the Cancer was too bad, Mom never ever gave up hope, She went in the hospital with a positive mind and never ever lost it. On September 17th, 2009 Mom was called home to finally be with her Loving Husband Arch Whiteway to whom she never did get over after his passing, and her Mom and Dad. Mom never suffered and she went fast, we will never forget, and in our Hearts Mom went in GOOD FAITH.
We will always remember every single moment we her kids had with her and we will always cherish every memory. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. WE LOVE YOU MOM ALWAYS.( FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS, TIL THE DAY WE MEET AGAIN!!)
