My Story

my dad was a loving and caring dad who always had time 2 listen 2 any problems we had and worked hard 2 keep us all fed and clothed he worked in fairfield shipyard for years before moving onto yarrows shipyard in scotstoun he also played football for the southern general hospital league at which he also had great success as a player and won many trophies and cups at which he also took me and my wee brother 2 the games with him he also had shawfield dog stadium which he attended reguarly 2 nights a week the worst thing about losing my dad who never smoked and only ever had the odd pint was just not being able 2 do anything 2 help him i just hope in his final days that he through his illness new how much it was hurtingme inwardly 2 see my dad a shell of his usual self. my dad is gone 2 rest with my wee bruv who we also lost tragically a few years ago but he will never be gone from our thoughts every day with sadness but also with a smile 2 god for letting us have such a caring man who i had the privelage 2 call DAD. R.I.P. DAD. love and miss you. SON MARTIN
