Remembering you on your birthday Dad and wishing you were here.
Knowing how much you loved dogs, you would have enjoyed walking around Swanage with our young collie Sukie.
Missing you so much, but glad you are no longer suffering.
18 June - such a special day celebrating both your and Grandad's birthday. I miss you both and look back with loving fondness at all our happy memories.
Rest in peace, your loving (grand)daughter, Carol xxx
I love you Dad with all my heart
And hate that we should be apart
Our love is a bond that can’t be broken
You may be gone, but never forgotten
I remember the day you went away
The pain in my heart is every beat
But I know that eventually, one day
We will, once again meet
The loss is something I can’t describe
I’m really going to miss you
One day I’ll be back by your side
So I can...
16/02/12
Its been 4 years since you went away
but you are missed every day
the things you did, the things you would say
I owe a debt to you I cant repay.
but in my memory you will always stay.
It's lonely here without you,
We miss you more each day,
For life is not the same to us,
Since you were called away.
To your resting place we visit,
Place flowers there with care,
But no one knows our heartache,
When we turn and leave you there.
Remembering you on your birthday Dad - 18th June, and of course Father's Day tomorrow.
You loved animals and I'm sad that you are not here to enjoy walks with our collie/salukie cross, Sukie. You and she would have loved rambling around Swanage together.
Missing you always, your loving daughter, Carol
It's hard to believe that 3 years have passed since you were taken from us.
You are sorely missed and I think fondly of your visits when you explored our Swanage streets.
We love and miss you, all the time.
your loving daughter, Carol
Dad, on Father's Day I wish I could give you the gift of life, as you gave me all those years ago when you first became a Father.
I love and miss you every day. xxx Carol
Thinking of you and missing you on your birthday, Dad...
"You never failed to do your best -
Your heart was true and tender -
Your worked and toiled for those you loved -
And left Us to Remember -
I sat beside your hospital bed -
My heart was crushed and sore -
I watched for you until the end -
And I could do no more -
In tears I watched you sinking -
I watched you fade away -
And...
You told me that when I was two and you rode a motor cycle and sidecar, I always bounced and said "go faster daddy, go faster!" Can't say I'm so keen on speed now. ;)
