My Story

Alan was born on the 6th March 1982 in Edinburgh he was our 1st child Alan has two brothers Stuart,Darren and one sister Laura,they were a close bunch always looking out for each other Alan was really protective of Laura her being the youngest and only sister, Alan had epilepsy all his life but had been siezure free for three years. Alan went fishing the week before he died to catch a pike he caught one but was anoyed because he never had a camera with him so the next Saturday he went back with his fiance Siobhan's nephue and friend it was a wet Saturday and he told them to shelter under trees and he would set up unknown to Siobhan nephue Alan had taken a siezure and fell into the resivoir when they came across Alan he was face down in the water and couldn't reach him he was only 23, he was such a good natured lad always up for a laugh and always joking around we miss him its like someone has torn a piece out of my heart and I cant put it back. You know it took three days to get our Alan back to us as the resivoir was 180 feet deep and Alan was 50 feet down in murky peaty water I thank god we got him home.
