My Story

She was the best nan ever, caring, kind and considerate. She loved knitting and all of us grandchildren got special jumpers for our birthdays or christmas, anything we wanted on them she would try to knit for us even if it would take her months to do.

Saturdays were always great days when I was younger, Saturday we spent with nan, not doing anything in particular but just going shopping with her.  Even though we didn't do anything special it was just nice spending time with her. When she was alive we saw her pretty much every week even if it was only for a couple of hours. Even if she was busy she'd still spend time with us. She'd always make us laugh when we were down.

One great holiday I remember was when we went to Southend for the day. I remember her getting grossed out by my lemon and lime slush puppy. It was funny. Other great outings were going to Biggin Hill Air Shows. There would be a whole load of us and we'd just sit around watching the Red Arrows and other such planes. Nan always made sure we were all well fed and happy.

She is loved and missed by everyone, and she will never ever be forgotten.
