My Story

Cameron was born January 29th, 1998, in Orangeburg. He is the son of Barry and Allison Berry. He was a member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church, the youth group and the Royal Ambassadors of Mount Tabor. Cameron was a student at Dorchester Academy and was a junior high football player where he proudly wore the #5 jersey. He loved to hunt and fish and most importantly he was a Christian.

The eighth-grader was a "wonderful child" and a fine Christian young man, Headmaster Karen Neil said. Cameron exemplified the fruits of the Spirit: goodness, kindness, gentleness and he loved being around kids and kids loved him. Everybody loved being around him.

He is survived by his parents Barry and Allison Berry and sister Tori Berry of Bowman; grandmother Doris Berry of Bowman; uncle Clint and Susan Berry and children Jack and Allie Berry, all of Bowman; aunt Elaine Stroman and children Robert Stroman and Haley and Bennie, Jeff Stroman, all of Bowman, etc.

Berry died Sunday from head injuries he received in a golf cart accident at his home near Bowman, South Carolina on Friday.
