My Story

My Gourpal was the greatest man I have ever known. It's impossible to include, in this description, all the wonderful things he did in his life and what an impact he had on others. First off, my grandfather was a WWII and Korea Veteran, and was a Sergeant First Class in the United States Army. Growing up, I did not have a father present in my life, but my grandfather took on that role immediately when my brother and I were born. He was there for us and loved us like a father would. God blessed me by giving me my Gourpal for the 18 years I was able to spend with him, and I would not trade those years for anything in the world. He may be gone physically, but I will always remember him for the love he shared with me, and gave me for 18 years, and all the ways he has impacted my life forever. He is my hero and I will always love and miss him dearly, and he will never be forgotten. He will always remain in my heart, and I will always be "Gourpal's Little Girl".
