Ms. Caroline Yvonne Brown, age 71, of Piedmont,  passed away Friday, April 8, 2011.

She was born in Calhoun County, AL on April 7, 1940 a daughter of the late Joe Hamilton Brown and Elizabeth Smith Brown. 

Ms. Brown had lived all of her life in the Piedmont and Cedartown, GA areas where she was a C.N.A and a member of the Rock Run Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Hamilton Brown and Elizabeth Smith Brown and by 

three sisters: Wilodean Tapp, Aloma Mull, and Flora Mae Tierce and 

three brothers: James Orville Brown, Gyle Brown, and William J.C. Brown.

She is survived by two daughters, Rita Jo Carter, Aragon; Donna Carol Taylor, Esom Hill;

one sons: Curtis Ray Taylor Jr. Esom Hill; 

one sister, Doris Jackson, Cedartown; 

5 grandchildren,3 great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Apeil, 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Tucker 

& Rev. Ben Clements officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Grove Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Zachary Carter, Joseph Carter, Austin Temple, Christopher Hicks, Dylan Jackson and Joey Pledger.

Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
